Past Programmes
Bodhi has endeavoured to make an annual thematic presentation of Tagore's works before the IIT Kanpur community. A highlight of every Bodhi presentation has been the projection on the screen of an English translation of the script including dialogues and songs, all along the show. This has facilitated breaking of the language barrier and
comprehension by the non-Bengali population in the community

Navarasas & Tagore: A Musical Exploration
(তব গীতসুধারসে)
The Nava-Rasas, as specified by the ancient scripture Natya Shastra (~200 BC-300 AD), indicate the nine chief human emotions, and are part of the foundation of Indian aesthetics. However, as can well be imagined, the interpretation and application of a particular Rasa in a creative art form would differ among the artists, various art styles and art schools. In this program, we focussed on the expression of the Rasas in the unique music style established by Tagore, viz. Rabindrasangeet.
